Equal Angles

Equal angle bars which are dimensionally standardized according to EN 10056-1 (1998), have parallel legs and their tolerances are defined with EN 10056-2 (1993) represent a broad product line of bar-shaped building elements. Generally, angle bars in stainless steel are used in commerce and industry but also in machinery and equipment building. The use of stainless steel profiles is characterized by a high flexibility of composition and a fast and cost reduced construction (through the possibility of prefabrication in steel production). Stainless steel profiles are produced mainly from scrap and can be recycled again after utilization so new resources can be conserved.

There is a large variety of different equal and unequal stainless steel angles sizes, which can be sourced throughout the world in both imperial and metric sizes. Montanstahl has placed its focus on stainless steel grades only.
These structural profiles are manufactured using highly automated hot rolling mills and laser welding lines in different locations. If you do not see what you are looking for, please contact us, and our experienced staff will be glad to help you with your needs.

Both hot rolled and laser fused stainless steel equal leg angles and unequal leg angles. Standard stainless steel sections replicate the dimensions of carbon steel profiles. If your project requires something non-standard, manufacturing technology allows us to produce custom sections in the shape and alloy you demand to meet your exact needs.

According to EN 10088-3: 1D the following austenitic grades are predominantly used for stainless steel structural: 1.4301 (304), 1.4307 (304L) , 1.4401 (316) , 1.4404 (316L) and 1.4571.
